This Add-On bundles the most important methods to analyze shadow images for particle characterization. From bubbly flows, sprays, or general multiphase flows; image processing/analysis provides in-depth information otherwise not accessible like in point-measurement techniques (wire probes, PDA).

By leveraging state-of-the-art image processing, it is possible to accurately detect, track, and extract useful parameters from the imaged particles. Moreover, the built-in post-processing tools allow quick visualization and key statistics calculations, for either quick diagnostics or custom analyses using external tools.
