The Shadow Sizer can measure a wide range of particles types including bubbles, liquid droplets, solid particles and any object with a well-defined contour.
Data is analyzed by DynamicStudio and includes histograms of size distribution, 2.5D spatial distribution plots, cumulative histograms and tables.

A comprehensive range of laser based or eye-safe LED illumination components, long distance microscopes and telecentric lenses as well as a stable bench for mounting and aligning the components makes it possible to make system configurations for virtually any spray or particle flow application.
A multi-scale calibration target allows for Depth-of-Field calibration, improving the precision and accuracy of particle size measurements.
The Shadow Sizer can be seamlessly combined with PIV or other imaging applications, which are all based on the DynamicStudio software platform.
