The recent Defense Days Conference 2025, organized by Spectro-Lab in cooperation with; Dantec Dynamics GmbH, OBRUM Gliwice, Silesian University of Technology, and the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation, successfully gathered over 90 participants from the Polish defense industry and academia representing defense research, production, and testing sectors.
The conference lasted for two days – the first day in Warsaw at the Institute of Aviation, and the second day in Gliwice at the Silesian University of Technology. The agenda covered a wide range of innovative testing and simulation technologies.
One of the highlights of the event was the presentation by Dr. Tomasz Rusin about Dantec Dynamics’ advanced optical measurement systems for the defense testing applications, including;
- High-Speed and Multi-Camera Digital Image Correlation (DIC) for full-field 3D deformation and strain analysis
- Laser Shearography for rapid non-destructive defect detection on large composite surfaces
- Thermoelastic Stress Analysis (TSA) for full-scale fatigue and structural integrity testing

The Defense Days Conference 2025 provided excellent networking opportunities and strengthened collaboration between research institutions and the defense sector in Poland. We are very thankful that we were able to showcase Dantec Dynamics’ technologies for modern defense testing.
