The StreamWare structure allows interfacing with external devices and software code. This feature makes StreamWare a very open and versatile software package. Dantec supports as standard a selected number of A/D boards and traversing systems covering most applications. There is, however, a great variety of A/D boards and traverse systems on the market. The Programmer’s Toolkit presents a set of templates for writing customized translation drivers in such cases. It also allows you to interface StreamWare for communication with a third-party device driver.
