Single-sensor miniature wire probes

Miniature wire probes have a 5 µm diameter, 1.25 mm long platinum-plated tungsten wire sensor. The wires are welded directly to the prongs and the entire wire length acts as a sensor. They are general purpose probes recommended for most measurements in one-dimensional flows of low turbulence intensity. The probes are the cheapest in the Dantec program and are straightforward to repair. Miniature wire probes are available in five different configurations. The picture to the right shows the probe dimensions common for the single-sensor miniature wire probes.
