We’re introducing the SpeedSense KT series of high-speed cameras. They feature 1 MP or 4 MP back-side illuminated CMOS sensors with very high sensitivity, more than 84% QE, 10 GigE interface for fast transfer of data, and binning for even higher sensitivity and frame rates.
The cameras have a compact form factor, slightly larger than the SpeedSense VEO cameras, and include an internal mechanical shutter for easy black references and camera calibration.
The 1 MP cameras offer full-resolution frame rates between 7750 and 15640 fps and a pixel size of 18.5 µm, whereas the 4 MP cameras offer between 1850 and 3750 fps and a pixel size of 9.27 µm.
All the SpeedSense KT cameras include the possibility of 2 x 2 binning, quadrupling the frame rate and reducing the image noise. The onboard memory capacity is up to 128GB for most of the cameras.
