Higher Optical Outputs
At the same -off distance; the new XR/XB model is 1.3x brighter and the new SXR/SXB model is 1.5x brighter than the older XR/XB and SXR/SX models, respectively.
Clear & consistent application-based segmentation of illumination solutions
We have a large portfolio of illumination solutions for Digital Image Correlation (DIC) systems that differ according to; illuminance optical output, colour wavelength, and illumination triggering mode. The selection of the most appropriate illumination system for a materials testing application is dependent on the; required acquisition frame rate, minimum (usable) shutter time, distance-to-object (DtO), speckle contrast, and test temperature.
Modular & multi-system functionality with the XR/XB/SXR/SXB illumination system with the X-Illumination Controller
The XR-LED, XB-LED, SXR-LED, or SXB-LED Illumination Systems can be retrofitted with the (optional) X-Illumination Controller) for:
- 8x Multi-illumination unit system control with for MulticamDIC or MSpeedDIC systems,
- Adjustable dimming intensity, and
- Strobe (pulsed) illumination trigger mode
Irrespective of the illumination unit type, wavelength, and illumination trigger mode, any combination of XR-LED, XB-LED, SXR-LED, or SXB-LED Illumination Systems unit can be controlled together or independently. Using the X-Illumination Controller, any illumination unit can achieve a 100 ns strobe length at full optical power with 220 ns pulse (level) delay.
Standardized safety eyewear
With any new illumination models, we provide safety eyewear included (as standard) with each item. Safety eyewear ensures that users can work safely with any illumination system, particular systems of high optical output intensity and those operated in strobe illumination triggered mode.
