Dantec Dynamics’ series of light-sheet optics can be used together with high-power Nd:YAG lasers. One of the advantages of these optics is the high degree of modularity, producing a light-sheet with fixed or adjustable thickness, enabling the user to generate light-sheets for almost any flow illumination application.

- Thick light-sheets for 3D PIV

- Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence
The light-sheet optics has a large aperture and handles beam diameters of up to 12 mm from high-energy pulsed laser beams at 100-500 mJ. This high laser power is often required in the study of large-area airflows. The large aperture has been especially developed for stereoscopic PIV applications, for which thick light-sheets are often required. The light-sheet optics series (80X80) is compatible with Dantec Dynamics’ light guiding arms.
