The Volumetric Velocimetry setup with 3 cameras.

The VV solution exhibited generated a tremendous interest from the conference delegates. It comprised three 2,000 fps SpeedSense cameras fitted with Telecentric lenses imaging a volume of approx. 100 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm with a piston activated flow and CW laser illumination coupled with the VV data being presented in DynamicStudio in 3D on a 60 inch TV.

Many conference delegates expressed their positive appreciation, once introduced to the concept of Telecentric lenses, the ease of calibration, the technique of scanning the volume of interest with a light sheet generated by CW laser and being explained the benefits of Dantec Dynamics' VV solutions. Scientists' interest was further peaked when they learned that Dantec Dynamics provides three different VV processing methods. The Volumetric Velocimetry systems may be configured with 2, 3 or 4 cameras.
