The FMS-100 system is a multi-channel anemometer for the measurement of air velocities in the front openings of flow cabinets, fume cupboards etc.
The magnitude of the front-opening velocity is important for operator safety and must not drop below a critical limit defined by national or international safety standards. A check is therefore required at regular intervals.
The FMS-100 system consists of a multichannel CTA with up to 9 transducers, a mounting grid and data acquisition software for use with a portable PC.
Potential customers include owners of flow cabinets/fume cupboards, consulting engineers carrying out performance tests and manufacturers. The system has been designed in cooperation with users.
It combines user-friendliness, efficiency, reliability and accuracy. It may be used both in test and control and as a diagnostic tool during design and development.
