Materials Research

Fast and simple measurements are basic requirements in the process of development of new materials and components. This enables the characterisation of new materials regarding parameters such as tensile strength behaviour, Young’s Modulus, Poisson Ratio hardness, and others.

The non-contact, full-field and non-destructive optical measuring methods provide detailed knowledge of the particular material’s characteristics with minimal effort.

In advanced material research Dantec Dynamics’ measurement systems are used for experimental research as well as for validation of FEM.

Application areas include

·          Materials Characterization
·          Metallurgy
·          Biomaterials
·          Ceramics and other materials
·          Thermal Expansion Coefficient Measurement
